ABANA is delighted to partner with Atlantic Council’s empowerME initiative on welcoming their second cohort of WIn (Women Innovators) fellows from Bahrain, KSA, and the UAE in a special event focused on celebrating and empowering Arab Women in Business and Entrepreneurship.
This is a complimentary, limited-capacity event for ABANA members and their guests only (please see ticket types below for details). ABANA encourages and prioritizes women attendees especially to take advantage of this powerful women-focused event as it should not be missed!
A special thanks to ABANA Board Chairman, Marwan Azzi, for hosting this event at his offices!
The program will include:
1. A panel discussion with ABANA board members, Thana Al-Mufarrej and Heather Ibrahim-Leathers, through which they will share their insights and perspectives as top women leaders in the industry – moderated by Jacqueline Samuel from the Carlyle Group.
2. A fireside chat with guest speaker, Josie Cox, revolving around her new book “Women, Money, Power: The Rise and Fall of Economic Equality” which provides a historic perspective on the progress made towards economic equality along with an outlook on the challenges women continue to face today – moderated by Lynn Monzer from Atlantic Council.
3. A panel discussion with a selection of the WIn fellows where they will share their experiences and perspectives as women entrepreneurs in the MENA Region.
4. And finally, a networking reception with hors d’œuvres and drinks to follow.
