This half-day briefing provides an update on economic activity in the region, the latest legislative and legal developments and the impact of the political and social upheaval that has affected some of the Middle East’s economies. Members of Crowell & Moring’s MENA team, including lawyers from the firm’s associated law firms in Cairo and Riyadh, conduct the briefing with insights shared by Dr. Faten Sabry of NERA Economic Consulting and Hussein Khalifa of MVision Private Equity Advisers.

The focus is on transactional opportunities but the briefing will be relevant to any organization either doing business in or looking to establish a business in the Middle East. The event also covers best practices in the alternative dispute resolution arena, from the drafting of ADR clauses to navigating through the laws of Middle Eastern jurisdictions, and how to avoid the most common pitfalls.
