On behalf of the Hogan Lovells, ABANA is pleased to extend the following invitation to a breakfast briefing to discuss key legal developments in the area of international disputes in the Middle Eastern and North African region. This breakfast will feature a panel of speakers, including a presentation from the Director of DIFC-LCIA, Mohamed ElGhatit, who will detail the purpose and benefit of DIFC-LCIA arbitration for companies doing business in the UAE, the GCC and wider MENA region.

The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is the financial hub for the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, providing a world-class platform connecting the region’s markets with the economies of Europe, Asia and the Americas. With the support of the Dubai government, the restructured Centre is expected to consolidate and enhance Dubai’s role as the major center for the resolution of commercial disputes for those doing business within the MENA region.

Our panelists will provide an in-depth look at key developments in MENA, and will offer insights on the reshaping of its dispute resolution framework in light of the growth of business opportunities in the region.
