ABANA is delighted to invite its community to join an exclusive conversation with Chris Flowers, the Chairman and CEO of J.C. Flowers and Company. Mr. Flowers is a legendary advisor, investor, and philanthropist who has been at the forefront of some of the most challenging and innovative transactions in the financial services industry, and whose views on markets and the economy are always thoughtful and prescient. In 1998, Mr. Flowers established J.C. Flowers and Company, a private investment firm dedicated to investing globally in the financial services sector. Since then, the firm has invested nearly $17 billion, including co-investment, in 65 portfolio companies across 18 countries.

The event will be moderated by Professor Costis Maglaras, whose leadership as the 16th Dean of Columbia Business School has turned it into one of the top graduate business school programs in the world. Outside of this, his experience has been focused on financial technology, asset management, markets, and digital technology. Professor Maglaras is a first-class intellectual with a pragmatic understanding of the marketplace.

The introduction will be made by Joud Abdel Majeid, ABANA Vice-Chair and Senior Managing Director, Global Head of Investment Stewardship at Blackrock.
