As some countries continue to tighten their COVID-19 related restrictions, others have started to ease their lockdown rules to allow their economies to start recovering. But we will not see the impact of any stimulus packages aimed at supporting domestic growth until H2. Indeed, many countries in the region were battling entrenched economic challenges even before the pandemic and its lockdowns made things worse.
