This fireside chat will explore how AI is reshaping industries in the Arab World, the hurdles and opportunities of scaling tech ventures in the MENA region, and the insights global founders, investors, and innovators can gain from the region’s fast-paced rise. A networking reception will follow the fireside chat.

The event will feature Sara Rona, Managing Director of Global Gateway at Silicon Valley Bank and head of the UK and Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa regions. It will also feature Josef Najm, a Principal on the Ventures team at Thomson Reuters, and Hani Azzam, the Co-founder of Viaka, and a Principal at Propellor. The session will be moderated by Mona Dajani, a member of ABANA’s Board of Directors, Global Co-Chair of the Energy, Infrastructure, and AI teams, and Global Co-Chair of the Baker Botts Energy Sector.
