Robert Seber is a partner in Vinson & Elkins’ Business and International Group. His principal areas of practice are private equity, mergers and acquisitions and other forms of corporate transactions. Mr. Seber’s experience encompasses the representation of numerous buyout and venture capital funds as well as a variety of portfolio companies in a broad spectrum of corporate and financial transactions. Concentrating on all aspects of the investment cycle of private equity funds, Mr. Seber advises investors and fund principals on key phases ranging from origination to management and exit transactions. Leveraging his broad transactional experience, Mr. Seber also represents corporate clients in privately negotiated M&A transactions, as well as public acquisitions, financings and strategic alliances. He frequently assists European and other overseas companies with respect to their transactional activities in the United States. Since joining the firm in 2004, Mr. Seber has represented several private equity investors and corporations in domestic and international energy transactions. Mr. Seber is a graduate of Yale Law School (1986) and Vienna Law School (1981).
