Egyptian Perihan Abou-Zeid partnered with fourteen others to create Qabila Media Productions, a media content creator, in 2010. Qabila uses crowd sourcing and digital media to provide clients with cost-effective content in order to reach their target audience in the most effective way. The organization has flourished as a major source of TV programming to educate the Egyptian public about political issues and processes. Ms. Abou-Zeid serves as Co-Founder and Communications Director. She also works with Google as an Account Strategist where she builds and optimizes online advertising strategies for clients. Perihan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the American University in Cairo. She won 2nd place in the MIT-EF Pan-Arab Business Plan Competition and the Best Woman Entrepreneur Award.
