Eddy is the co-founder & CEO of Anghami, the leading music streaming platform in the Middle East and North Africa. In 2012, seizing the opportunity of a lack of proper legitimate music service, Eddy and his business partner Elie Habib launched Anghami (meaning My Tunes in Arabic). Since then, Anghami has reached over 70 million users, generating close to 1 billion streams a month with a catalog of more than 57 million licensed Arabic & International tracks, knowing that the platform is directly integrated with 37 mobile operators.
At Anghami, Eddy looks after the business development and strategic partnerships among music labels, telcos, advertisers and media. He holds a master in Private Law and an MBA in international business from KEDGE Business School France. Eddy is a musician at heart with a long experience in live, production, digital and mobile entertainment. He was selected as an Endeavor high-impact entrepreneur in 2013, a Lebanese Top Entrepreneur in 2012 and 2013 and listed in the Forbes’ Lebanon 100 leaders in 2018.
