Ahmed Fattouh is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Baron Group Holdings and its investment management affiliates, Landmark Advisors and Globalist Capital Management.
Prior to founding Baron in 1998, Mr. Fattouh was a member of the U.S. private equity team at Investcorp International, and previously an investment banker in the mergers and acquisitions department of Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Fattouh has completed over $10Bn of investment banking transactions in the United States, Europe and the Middle East, and has managed funds dedicated to public and private investments in developed and emerging markets.
In the aftermath of Egypt's January 25th Revolution, Mr. Fattouh founded the Tahrir Square Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to humanitarian, educational, and development causes in Egypt. Complementing its philanthropic activities, the Foundation will co-sponsor a fund to invest in job-creating enterprises alongside international strategic partners.
Mr. Fattouh graduated cum laude from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service with a B.S.F.S. in International Economics and a Certificate in Arab Studies. He is married to Elizabeth Pogue Fattouh and divides his time between New York, London, and Cairo.
