Online videos have quickly become the most effective form of communication and engagement. We’re going to dive into that trend because we need to understand what the different video platforms are, and how they can benefit us in various ways. We’re also going to look at the ambitious idea of creating your own video platform, and what that would entail, and perhaps how we can make it happen. Finally, we’ll look at ways to measure performance (video analytics) and examples of successful video campaigns flooding our dear world wide web. It’s a chance for anyone interested in social media trends and digital marketing to stay ahead of the curve, as well as for startups and investors in the field of media and communication, looking to familiarize themselves with this growing space.
Shalaby is the Co-Founder & CEO of Mintrics, a Facebook video analytics startup. He’s also the Partner at ThePlanet, a digital creative agency out of Cairo, and for six years, was the Creative Director overlooking everything social media, web and mobile design, and video content creation. He’s currently based in Lausanne, Switzerland because Mintrics has been selected to accelerate with MassChallenge. Shalaby graduted from Penn State in 2005 and has traveled extensively – but even though you can take Shalaby out of Cairo, you can’t take Cairo out of Shalaby.
