Since the inception of the DIFC in 2004, asset management firms in the Centre have raised significant AUM from Governments, SWFs, Corporates and HNWIs in the Gulf and broader Middle East, using their DIFC office as a base for the region. Yet there remain valid questions on the benefits of a regional presence.
