Gonnasphere
Turkish computer engineer Taner Yildirim, CEO of Gonnasphere, left his job at a large software firm in Ankara to found his own tech startup. A well-known DJ, as well, Taner created a social networking app aimed to keep everyone aware of what is on each others' upcoming social calendars. Gonnasphere is a web-mobile application that helps users organize their to-do lists and share the lists with friends. Mr. Yildirim is a young entrepreneur and recent computer engineering graduate of Bilken University in Turkey. His project, Gonnasphere, won second place in the 2012 MIT Enterprise Forum Turkey Business Plan Competition. Now, the company is developing iPhone and Android applications.
