A longtime investor in the healthcare industry, John Moore co-founded the Marwood Group with Ted Kennedy, Jr. in 2000. Prior to leading the Marwood Group, he was a co-founder and Vice Chairman of CarePlus Health Plan, an HMO based in New York City which was acquired by Amerigroup (NYSE: AGP) in January 2005. Mr. Moore is also a co-founder of Extended Care, a New York City-based Special Needs Certified Home Healthcare Agency. Mr. Moore is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he has served as a member of the University's Board of Visitors and Chairman of the Alumni Advisory Board to the Communications Department. Mr. Moore holds the FINRA series 7, 24, 63 and 66 securities licenses.
