Mr. Krensky is co-founder and principal of Discovery Capital Management LLC and Co-Manager of the Discovery Global Opportunity Fund, a global emerging market multi-asset class hedge fund. He is also the managing partner of Discovery Americas I, a private equity fund targeting Mexican domestic companies.
Prior to founding Discovery, Mr. Krensky was a Director and Senior Portfolio Manager in the investment management group at Deutsche Bank and Deutsche Morgan Grenfell. He co-founded and managed the DB New World Fund, an emerging market hedge fund investing in global debt and currency markets. Previously, Mr. Krensky was a Director in the Emerging Markets Group at Bear Stearns from 1993 until 1996.
Mr. Krensky is an adjunct professor of international business at the Leonard Stern Graduate School of Business at New York University. Mr. Krensky graduated with distinction from Colby College, holds a Master's degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and earned an MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
