Anthony Artabane is the leader of the Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP Global Alternative Investment Management Team. Mr. Artabane has been continuously involved in the investment management industry for the past twenty-five years. He has been the engagement partner for several large mutual fund groups and investment advisors registered with the SEC, including WAFRA Investment Advisory Group. He also serves or has served as engagement partner on several large private equity funds and hedge funds sponsored by well-known independent managers, as well as by large banks and investment banks, including CSAM (formerly DLJ Asset Management). He currently serves as engagement partner or concurring partner for over a dozen private equity funds, including funds sponsored by Deutsche Bank, AXA and affiliates and JPMorganChase Capital Partners. Mr. Artabane has also advised in the organization and structuring of more than 100 alternative asset funds, and led the process review and risk assessment projects of the alternative investment operations and the offshore administrative operations of several major global financial services organizations. He is a former member of the AICPA Investment Company Committee and frequently speaks at international conferences for offshore funds and private equity and investment partnerships. Mr. Artabane is CPA licensed in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
